DRIVING & PARKING
The USC campus is located about 2 miles southwest from Downtown and 1 mile from the intersection of the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) and the Harbor Freeway (I-110).
The most convenient freeway exit is from I-110 onto Exposition Boulevard. At the end of the exit you will see the campus on the right-hand side one block down the street.
Another convenient access is to exit from Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) on Vermont south to Jefferson Boulevard.
USC Parking Structures: Downey Way Parking Structure (formerly PSA), Royal Street Parking Structure (formerly PSD), Flower Street Parking Structure (formerly PS1), Figueroa Street Parking Structure (formerly PS2) and the Grand Avenue USC Parking Center at 35th Street and Grand Avenue (shuttle to campus from Grand Avenue Parking Structure provided)

The Expo Line is the most popular way for everyone to attend the festival and drops riders directly at the south end of the Festival of Books.

Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, Culver City, and Downtown L.A.:
Expo Line to Expo Park / USC Station.
Los Feliz, Hollywood, Universal City, Studio City, and North Hollywood:
Red Line to 7th Street / Metro Center Station, transfer to the Expo Line and exit to the Expo Park / USC Station.
Purple Line to 7th Street / Metro Center Station, then make the transfer to the Expo Line and exit at the Expo Park / USC Station.
Pasadena, Azusa, Monrovia, Arcadia, South Pasadena, Highland Park, Boyle Heights, and East L.A.:
Gold Line to Union Station, transfer to El Monte Busway/Alameda - Union Stations bus stop and take the Metro Silver Line bus to 37th St. Transitway Station.
Metro Bus 81 southbound to Expo Park/USC Station.
Blue Line to the Pico station, then make the transfer to the Expo Line to Santa Monica and get off at the Expo Park / USC station.
Take the Metro Express 860 to Figueroa/23rd St, then walk one block east along 23rd St and board Expo Line headed towards Santa Monica and exit at Expo Park/USC Station (Fare is $1.50 on Line 860 and transfers are free with a TAP card).
Redondo Beach, The Second, South L.A., and Lakewood:
Green Line to the Harbor Fwy Station, then transfer to the Silver Line and exit at 37th Street / USC Station, walk two blocks west toward Exposition Blvd / USC.
The Green line rate to the Silver line is $ 1.75 one way + $ 0.75 transfer with the TAP card only.
The Silver line rate to the Green Line is $ 2.50 each way with cash or 'TAP card'
Norwalk, Cerritos, La Mirada, and Buena Park:
Take Metro Express 460 to 37th Street / USC Station, then walk two blocks west toward Exposition Blvd / USC.
Metro Express fee is $ 2.50 each way with cash or TAP card
Shuttle service to the Festival
The Festival shuttle bus from Union Station is no longer provided.
