Anousha Sakoui

Anousha Sakoui is an entertainment industry writer for the Los Angeles Times, covering the business of Hollywood and labor issues in media. She joined Company Town in 2019 from Bloomberg News and has been based in Los Angeles since 2014. Previously she wrote for the Financial Times in London as well as Dow Jones & Co and the Wall Street Journal. She got her start in business news at the BBC and is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. She graduated with a MA in Economics and Mathematics. She was born in London, England, where she attended the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle.

Andrew O’Hagan

Andrew O’Hagan is the author of the novels Our FathersPersonality, and Be Near Me, which was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and won the L.A. Times Book Prize for Fiction. His latest work, Mayflies, is the winner of the L.A. Times Christopher Isherwood Prize for Autobiographical prose. His work has appeared in the London Review of Books, the New York Review of Books, the New Yorker, and The Guardian (U.K.). In 2003, O’Hagan was named one of Granta’s Best Young British Novelists. He lives in London, England.

Douglas Stuart

Douglas Stuart is a Scottish-American author. His debut novel, Shuggie Bain,  won the Booker Prize and is a finalist for the L.A. Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction. His short stories, Found Wanting, and The Englishman, were published in The New Yorker magazine. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he has an MA from the Royal College of Art in London and since 2000 he has lived and worked in New York City.
