Bring your family and friends to one of the most elaborate Labor Day celebrations, hosted by Food Network star, Giada De Laurentiis. Enjoy amazing chef creations, as well as fun kid and family-focused events throughout the afternoon. You can also catch an interview with “Hungry Girl” host and best-selling author Lisa Lillien. And see how Aida Mollenkamp of Cooking Channel’s Foodcrafters makes kid-friendly vegetable chips and Sprinkles Cupcakes founder Candace Nelson bakes her popular strawberry cupcakes. In this seminar Justin Warner, aka the “wine rhyme enthusiast” and co chef/owner of Do or Dine in Brooklyn, will explore the luxury and decadence of California Pinot Noir. Attendees will taste from several prestigious producers and learn what it takes to make killer Pinot in the Golden State.
• 1:45-2:45 p.m. “An Interview with ’Hungry Girl,’ TV Host and bestselling author Lisa Lillien,” led by Times Assistant Food Editor Rene Lynch, will offer an in-depth Q&A with the popular host of Food Network & Cooking Channel’s “Hungry Girl.”
